Once that was over we went outside and had our sandwiches, crisps, Welch cakes and fruit in the sunshine. Next we got our things together and went in the minibuses to Bracelet Bay where we were going to go rock hopping, or scrambling around. We split up into three groups and went with our instructors, John, Stuart and Rob.
The groups went in separate directions and took on different challenges. One group went along the causeway and up to Mumbles Lighthouse. One of the other groups scrambled all the way arounf the rocks under the Coastguard Station, then along Bracelet Bay. When they were on Bracelet Bay, they had a competition to see who could build the tallest rock tower. Finally they made their way to a rock pool and tried to swim all the way through it. It was really, really cold.
We headed back to Dan y Coed and had a lovely Sausage Dinner to eat, followed by delicious cookies for desert.
In the evening, we headed over to Blackpill for some fun in the pool, on the play equipment and with footballs, and tennis balls on the field area. After that we headed back to fill in our diaries and have some hot chocolate before bed.
We are looking forward to some rock climbing and abseiling tomorrow.
