So, today was our last day at Dan-y-Coed. We woke up early and started the long, hard challenge of packing our suitcases. Everything fitted into them nicely when we arrived, but somehow this time it was a bit harder.
Once this was done we then headed off on a lovely walk along the front to Mumbles. When we were there we split to our groups so that we could go to the shop to get a memento of our trip. While the first group was in the shop. Sam decided he was going for a ride on his bike (See the picture above), while some of us had a very competitive game of eye spy.
After both groups had been to the shop, we crossed the road to Joe's for an ice cream. The children chose what they wanted, ranging from small cones, to a massive £3.60 tub. They all really enjoyed as could be seen from the amount over some of their faces.
We then headed back along the front to Dan-y-Coed, where we had our lunch, before starting to load our things on the bus ready to return to school.
It has been an amazing week and we have all really enjoyed (staff and children). Your children have been a credit, as their manners, behaviour and general attitude have been superb throughout. Thank you for your support. Have a great weekend, and see you all bright and early Monday morning. Thanks again.
Mr Jones, Miss Howells, Miss Rees, Mrs Barnes and Miss Selby.
